Use the synthetic example to inspect the workflow.
Before you prepare
- Use a Shopify Online Store with product descriptions that identify the product and relevant variants.
- Start with products whose accessory relationship can be supported by a concrete fact, such as a matching connection or dimension.
- Keep the selected catalogue within up to 40 variants and 30,000 UTF-8 bytes. An eligible collection can include up to 40 products.
- Preparation is subject to available service capacity. Preparation language and currency are English and USD.
Start with a scan and review
Use Scan my store to begin preparation directly. It does not open a product picker. Inspect the resulting product identities and evidence. Pairwise follows eligible links contained in selected product descriptions; it does not automatically read unlinked manufacturer pages or page highlights.
When an important detail is absent, Pairwise holds the proposed pairing. Review the hold as unresolved; do not treat it as a fit confirmation. The source page explains this boundary.
Change range only when needed
After a result or a scope failure, use Change range to choose Entire catalogue or an eligible discovered collection under Available range. Pairwise checks up to 8 collections; if discovery is incomplete, additional collections may not appear. Then choose Prepare this range or Prepare the entire catalogue. This flow does not offer an arbitrary manual product picker.
Continue only when ready
Save the Pairwise theme embed in Shopify’s theme editor, return to Pairwise and use Check again when shown, then explicitly publish the reviewed offers you choose. These actions are distinct. See the full go-live sequence and how Pairwise works.
